Today we were inspired by our favorite hair blog to do a side ponytail. Of course its church night and we needed a fast style. So I did a few simple braids and pulled them over to the side and added a bow.
Ive been making a few new items lately. I made the baby a new headband to match her cherry outfit. I made Sis a new bow for her church dress.
And of course I made a couple pairs of flip flops for her.
Im a huge fan of braids because they are so quick and easy and anyone can do them. Since the weather here is amazingly warm I pulled Sis's hair in pigtails as well to keep her cool.
This is one of our tball hairstyles. I try to do something fun and different for every game. For this one I just pulled Sis's hair up in three sections. Then I split those sections into two more and did corkscrew braids. This is one we've done many, many times in the past. I saw it on another blog and thought I would use it today for Sis's church field trip. Its super easy and quick.
Today we wanted to try something alittle different. So we decided to use a headband and put braids around it to secure it in place. Then I just extented the braids and joined them into a ponytail. I thought it was cute and it stayed in place all day, from 11am till 9pm!
This is our hair for the holiday. I did the double diamonds followed by braided pigtails. Then added the red, white and blue bows. It took about 15 minutes to do and stayed in very well while the kids played at the lake.
